Important Checks
Left and Right Overlap
We recommend your venetian blind
overlaps your window recess by at least 5cm on each side (10cm overall).
For Greater Light Elimination
The more your venetian blind overlaps
your window recess, the more light you eliminate.
Measure the drop
Measure the height from where you want the top of the headrail to start, and the bottom
bar to finish. This is your drop measurement.
Important Checks
Top Overlap
We recommend your venetian blind
overlaps the top of your window recess by at least 7cm.
Bottom Overlap
The desired overlap at the bottom of your window recess is personal choice. Check
for obstructions such as radiators. If your window sill protudes more than 5cm, you
should stop your blind at this point.
